I'm a web designer and developer living on the island of Malta, which is in the Meditterranean sea between Italy and Tunisia. I'm English (with French ancestry) and lived in the UK until emigrating to Malta in early 2006.
After studying computing at university, I spent several years as a personnel officer (which was horrible) in local government and then Boots before 'coming home' to website design in 1999.
I finally became too tired of British culture, prices, politics and climate to stay there any longer, and am now enjoying life in the sun, with absolutely no regrets.
I love to snorkel and dive, and try to get underwater whenever I have the time. I also like to sail — I've crewed on yachts in the Caribbean and Australia and really enjoyed it.
My other enthusiasm is music — I studied classical piano and music theory when younger, and played keyboards in a rock band for a few years, performing in more than 200 gigs around the UK. I also play guitar and bass guitar a little. I haven't played a live gig for a while, but still compose in my home studio sometimes.
